October 31, 2008: Begin Peace Corps Application & send out emails for letters of recommendation.

November 12, 2008: Submit Volunteer Application and Health Status Review form.

November 24, 2008: Interview with campus recruiter.

December 1, 2008: Travel to regional office for fingerprinting. Turn in background check paperwork and information on student loans.

December 4, 2008: Follow-up phone interview with regional recruiter.

December 8, 2008: Send Education and Agriculture Skills Addendums to the regional office.

December 13, 2008: Another follow-up phone interview with regional recruiter.

January 26, 2009: Re-interview with regional recruiter.

February 10, 2009: Finally nominated! Sub-Saharan Francophone Africa, Agriculture and Forestry Extension, August 2009.

April 1, 2009: Medical Forms completed and sent to D.C.

April 27, 2009: Receive dental clearance.

May 4, 2009: Vision forms returned – not thoroughly completed.

May 5, 2009: Another trip to the ophthalmologist to get the forms completed and faxed to the PC medical office.

May 13, 2009: I receive medical clearance.

May 20, 2009: Send updated resume to SSA Placement Officer in D.C.

June 11, 2009: Phone Interview with SSA Placement Officer in D.C.

June 22, 2009: Receive Official Peace Corps Invitation!

August 10, 2009: Staging begins!
